Ahoy sailor,

With the forum temporarily out-of-order, I am e-mailing directly requesting your input regarding topics and/or speakers for the upcoming seminar series beginning in October.

You can start with checking out what has been done in past years by looking on the SSS web site: http://www.sfbaysss.org/ and follow the links to previous race year pages listed in the lower right.

One noticeable change to the up coming seminars will be the location.  We will be hosting them at different yacht clubs around the bay every month in order to increase our exposure to a wider audience that my not know about our organization.

I'd also like to hear from a volunteer willing to get the seminar notes available on the web site.  There are a number of sailors from across the nation and other countries that are preparing to enter our race that could certainly benefit from the information presented at our seminars.

So if you want to volunteer, have a topic that you would like to hear or present yourself, know of a knowledgeable person you would like to hear, know that your yacht club would be interested in hosting one of our seminars, or anything else -- drop me an e-mail about it.
