Let's see if this mailing list thing works...

As you probably know, I'm the SSS race chair for 2008.  And as you probably can guess, I'm recruiting volunteers to work the race deck at the Three Bridge Fiasco on January 26.  

You haven't lived until you've experienced the thrill of recording sail numbers as 50 Moore 24s jam across the starting line in both directions.   The finish can be pretty intense also.  First gun is at 0920, so we should have a few people on the deck about 0800 and the full start crew in place by 0900. The cutoff for finishing is 1900.  

Please let me know if you can make it, whether for the full day or just the start or finish. I'm hoping to get lots of eyes spotting sail numbers and lots of pens writing them down.  It's gonna be fun!  There will be donuts!
